I have hyperemesis which is controlled by ondansetron (zofran). It has worked pretty successfully since week 9, but at 12 weeks, I keep feeling dizzy like I'm carsick or drunk (room spinning a bit). Not the lightheaded kind of dizziness. I have no idea why this has started happening so suddenly. It gets more intense every day. It's also waking me up at night and making me feel really sick again. Any ideas?

Hey. I’m not sure but I would definitely speak to your midwife about what your experiencing. It could be anything from a simple inner ear infection to blood pressure. So many things can cause the spinning sensation (vertigo) x

Thank you. I thought it would be an easy answer like hormones. I'm just so sick of feeling dizzy!

It could very well be the hormones but it’s always best to get things like this checked out. I suffered vertigo for a number of years so you have my sympathy xx

I had HG too and was on ondansatron and cyclazine. I had that same dizziness. If your worried have a chat with your Dr xxx
