Sounds exactly like a migraine, but as others have said this is also a sign of pre-eclampsia. I take it you don't normally suffer from migranies?

Get to your mw, hv or gp first thing tomorrow to get checked out - they can prob tell from your blood pressure if there's anything to worry about.

I was gonna say the same, I got migraines towards the end of my pregnancy with lily (also when I was on the pill) they are awful arn't they (normally I'd get the fussy eye sight and tingling face just before the pain), apparently they can be caused by high hormone levels.

I'd get plenty of rest, try to avoid things like tea and coffee but like the others have said deffinatly talk to your midwife about it as it could also be a sign of high blood preasure and pre-eclampsia.
