Why are men so bloody horrible at times?

I swear they have PMT worse than us girls! A huge argument all because I said we were going out at about 3pm. He's known all week that my parents have invited us for a BBQ this evening. We'll probably eat at 6pm ish, and it's a 40 minute drive from our house. He doesn't understand that I think it's rude to turn up ten mins before we eat and then leave straight after, I actually want to spend some time with my family!? He's just so nasty at times!
