It's totally shit. I heard today another friend who got married 1 year ago is preggers. It always feels like a knife to the heart. I turned 35 on Saturday and I was 31 when I came off the pill ..but 33 when we properly started trying. NEVER thought I would spend my 35th birthday childless. It sucked. I also got af on my bday..some weird sort of brown stuff that's I posted about. Not sure what that means

It is really shit. My husband is finding things really hard atm. We aren't really trying now either, like Millie... I'm not sure what to do next.

5 and a half years is coming up soon for us ... I do miss that excitement you have in the first year of trying. I just feel like this is life now and I can’t even imagine or daydream about it being any different anymore. Honestly not sure why I log on here, don’t feel like I belong.


I’m cd28 today and 14dpo (actually bothered to do a couple of opks earlier this month)
Don’t think we actually dtd enough, just once a couple of days before ov and then once on day of ov. So no chance really, at least the timings for AF don’t fall on my birthday.


I had a lot of trouble with my kidneys recently and on a doctors visit they asked is there a chance I could be pregnant.. wanted to laugh!


It’s all so crap! I’m sorry we’re all still here!

I’d love to see anyone past the 1 year mark get a bfp
The regular ttc part of the forum is full of new people I don’t know and they don’t have to wait long for a bfp, great for them but can’t help but feel a little bitter so I try not to read those boards

Hi guys... Been off my pill since April 2017, had 3 miscarriages since then. We get married august 2019 so decided 2 months ago to stop trying and wait until after our wedding to start again... So I booked my hen do to Portugal and now I've just had a BFP!!! Can't actually believe it! It's only 5+1 today so still very early days and I know is anything could happen over the next few weeks. I've spoke to my doctor today who is arranging a scan for around 7 weeks for reassurance! Honestly people used to tell me all the time and I didn't bet it... But it does genuinely happen when u least expect it!!!

It’s gwnuinely shot. I came off the pill 8 years ago now. EIGHT. What a joke. My body is worse now than it was then!

I had to work all wknd on call so not had a day off..feeling very low. I just feel like this is the worst nightmare I could think of being trapped in a circle going around and around and trying until I have no eggs left then I live out the rest of my life sad and even more depressed

I know how you feel. Girls I went to school with or grew up with are on their 3/4/5th babies. I’ve been married either a similar time or longer & still childless.
