Ellas tongue is caked with milk, also on the insides of her mouth has dry milk, like skin is peeling off..is this okay and how would you suggest cleaning it off?

update: It's not dried milk..I think it's oral thrush. I can't get a Docs appointment til tomorrow, possibly weds. Has anyone elses babies had this? Any tips on helping her in the meantime? Thanks :(

when Hannah was in scbu they used a cotton bud one of the big ones in some water and just swished it around her mouth or u could just give her a drink of water

hope u managed to get an appt with the docs hon... hope she's alright

She's only just over a month old, would that be safe?

Oh sorry!!! I'm sure I read your ticker as 1 year! Sorry sorry sorry!

Mhairi had this and I had to get a script from the Docs.

The only other thing I can think of is to go to a chemist and register for the Minor Ailments Scheme, they then might be able to prescribe something!

Sorry again!

Ive heard that glycerine gets rid of it
Just put a little bit on a teat or dummy
