We have decided on a boys name but i am undecide on how to spell it
It will be Shaye Kian or Shay Kian, which way do u prefer to be spelt??

Yes I think Shay is better, I think Shaye could be read quickly and mistaken for Shane?

I think it looks more feminine with the 'e' on the end so I voted Shay.

I voted for Shaye, but after reading the other replies I do kind of agree that it may be mistaken for Shayne. So I've changed my mind and am going for Shay.

yeah shay whats the e for? it seems a bit surplas to requirements for me.

Hon because it is an unusual name I would choose to spell it the most common way to spell it but I'm not sure what that is?!?!? x

I think i agree with the majority of spelling it without the E on the end,its more feminine with it i think, and now its been mentioned its easier for it not to be mistaken for Shayne without the E too. Thanks girls its so nice to have peoples opinions!

i think shay..

my mums loves this name and wants me to call my little boy it :)

also, chrest, you have the same due date as me

That's my little brothers name!
Only we spell it Shéa, the Irish way...

It's gorgeous, I just think it's the nicest name.
I voted for Shay. The E just seems excessive!

I must admit I'd go Shea too. Never realised it was Gaelic, I was thinking of the butter!
