Which formula milk should i use! breast feeding mummy!

I think i may need to start bailey on some formula, hes still jaundiced and last night i noticed the whites of his eyes yellow more than usual, so to get the jaundice out ..

would it be ok to give him formula a few times through the day, and then breast feed in between..

I dont want him to stay on formula though..

which formula would you suggest...

SSS if he is ajundiced i would take him to the cdoctor. This could be having an effect on his eating and sleeping patterns.

As for formula i wouldn't give him any until you have established BF - and i would say that would be when bailey is around 6 - 8 weeks.

The breast feeding lady said its because hes being breast fed, something to do with the enzimes, breast milk takes longer to break the jaundice levels, his skin isnt as bad as it was before, but his whites are yellow.. even mark noticed and he doesnt notice anything, in fact he said they looked yellowy / green

so thats why i thought about formula for a little bit! will ring the gp though soon and see what he says,

this is what i thought as well.. so maybe im not doing wrong afterall.. just hope it goes away soon!

i would suggest taking him out into the sunshine but there is none!

i am surprised they have discharged him TBH.

Alex looked like a simpson for ages, I think he was about 4/5 weeks before it went. It would look worse first thing then get better as the day went on, or maybe I just got used to it :lol
