which Blender?

which blender would be best. i have a mini electric one but it doesnt puree right and still leaves lumps so im going to buy one tomorrow and i was wondering which is best, a hand blender or a mouli/baby food grinder?

any opinions or other suggestions of makes, brands etc welcome!!

i got this for £30, its fab, got loads of attachments and you can make smoothies with it too, i was forever buying blenders/ baby food grinders, but this is so much better.

My chef at cookery courses at college recommends hand blenders, and apparently there are some where the plastic tub attaches to the hand blender? He says they are the best and that expensive blenders are unnecessary.

I've got a hand blender but I didn't get one with the bowl so when I use it food sprays all over my kitchen
So I always end up using my jug blender!
