I am 20 weeks now, I was wondering where the baby sits when you’re laying down? Does it shift more into your back? Been feeling a lot of back pain lately wondering if it’s because the way I’m laying. Could laying on my stomach or side be the better option if it is the baby putting the pressure on my back ?

I don’t think baby will go in to one place. I presume they would rest all over the place

The nhs guidelines are to avoid lying on stomach or back, certainly from around 28 weeks onwards, they advise lie on left side, better for blood flow to the placenta x
