Registry office as don't do religion so wanted to avoid all that side of it in a church.

Had a wonderful day shared with only a handful of people but it was just the way we wanted to do things. Also meant we could put the money that would have been spent on a big wedding neither of us wanted to other things

A hotel or some such place would mean you don't have to have the whole Church spiel to it which I think is great for non church goers/ non believers. Can work out a fair whack cost wise however. Depends what you go for.

we didn't have a massive thing - only 40 people inc. DH and I. Total cost was £2000 which included our 7 day honeymoon to Spain (which was a bit crap I have to admit). It was a lovely wedding though, really nice

The first time round was in a church with a ton of people there which i didnt want (only wanted a small do)this was too the ex But this time when me and the now partner are getting married it will be in a registry office with a small handful of our friends and family!
