When will my OH feel kicks?

Feeling kicks a bit more now, low down and a few stronger ones......OH is so desperate to feel the kicks, but so far he cant..I have only felt the externally once and by the time OH ran over, s/he stopped!!!

He looks so crestfallen when I say its moving and kicking, I really want him to experience it!

Have a doppler, and we both have a listen before bed, he loves that as he can hear it move, and kick

Whats everyone elses experiences?? Do we just need to be more patient??? xxxx

Its amazing, I was trying to describe it to my friend today, she is intrigued by it....its almost like wind without the fart at the end at first, then the kicks start, and they are just so brillant!! It is so special I must admit that its just the two of you, sharing this little world of communication!!
You will start feeling something soon Rusks, I think my first wind type movement was 18-19 weeks xx

He will be able to see your whole bump moving soon. Mine got fed up of me making him feel the bump and then Oliver would stop moving!

Hey Zoe,

My OH felt our baby move last weekend for the first time. My bump also moves and jumps now which he can see...it's amazing! It will happen sweetie, as you said, your baby is facing backwards so that could be why he hasn't felt anything strong yet. I bet by next weekend he will have felt something!

Yes my OH felt baby kick externally from about 21 weeks, and my whole tummy moves now when he is really going for it..its so funny to watch!!
He is quite boisterous with his kicking in the evening. Perhaps you have a more ladylike little girl in there Zoe! Im sure you and OH will be able to feel it anyday now, try prodding your bump to get it to move, they do say as Lynsey mentioned that if its facing backwards you feel less movement.

On 20 week scan, it had back to us so I think the little tinker is facing away, and kicking towards my back...

I do feel the strangest kicks in my lady bits at the mo, like its trying to get out!!!! Most strange feeling!!!

In week 20 I was lying on the floor very late at night and my stomache started to have little kicj´ks coming up, it took another week at least before my hubby could catch a feel though as baby would go quite when he laid his hands on my tummy!

id say between 25-30 weeks

I felt the first kicks about 18 weeks - first of all it was like trapped wind, but now (I'm 21 weeks) they are definitely kicks. It feels like someone flicking you from the inside.

OH can't feel a thing yet - I think another month and he'll be able to feel stuff.

It's only the past couple of weeks that OH has been able to feel kicks, but seeing as my whole bump is usually jumping around and making odd shapes when LO iskicking mummy to pieces it;s a bit hard to miss!

It's so funny he just lies there with his hand on my tummy watching like a hawk then getting a big stupid grin on his face!
