When is it ok 2 have sex again?

i had sex 2 week after i gave birth and i didnt realise if that was ok or not, but i read on a web site that it was ok 2 do so. when i did it got a little messy so im wonderin if i didnt let myself heel proporly. i didnt have to have any stitches, i was just a little grazed. Do u think i damaged anythin by doing that so eirly? Do u think it will take longer to heal?

im a bit worried

The earliest I did it was 10 days after birth, I had a graze but no stitches and though it was messy midwife said it was ok!!

i was recommended not to do anything unitl 6 weeks after birth,as it greatly increased to risk of infection when trying to heal.

i tore badly during birth and needed a lot of stitches and didnt even attempt to have sex until about 8 weeks after and even now it still doesnt feel 100% yet

I asked my midwife this a few days after having baby. She said "as soon as you feel ready" she told me the stitches took 2 weeks roughly to disolve fully etc that really it was up to me and no set time to have to wait etc....and added that breastfeeding wasn't really a method of contraception!!

Looks like most of us are randy gits I did it 2 weeks after, and like most of you , had no stitches just a slight graze (from previous scar which was a graze after I had Josh)
