when can u express?

hiya all
i was just wonderin when is it ok to express? im goin to try breastfeedin but ive got this feelin ill stop but i wont o give my baby all my antibodies (ive been told they are in ur 1st few days milk) i dont wont to put baby on the bottle till as least a week after the birth so do u think it will be ok to express so soon? i no they say not to till 6weeks till breastfeedin is thingyoed but i wont be breast feedin

You can after a few days I think but midwives prefer it if you start doing that after a month if you are actually breastfeeding. I think it's OK straight away if you aren't but just want to express. If you get what I mean.
