it said in one of the baby mags you should brush a babies gums :?
i started brushing Adeles teeth whenher first one came in but i didnt use any tooth paste i only used some luke warmwater to begin with untill she hadabout 4 or 5 teeth then i used a tiny spot of the milky tooth paste you get in some of the bounty packs

hope this helps
xxxxxxx

I have that sample some where, I was going to look for it but I will just use water for now!

I've been brushing Brody's teeth since one first poked through. I basically just let him chew the baby toothbrush for now, he loves it, would chew it all day if I let him, I think it must feel nice when he's teething.

i did the same - suddenly realised he had teeth and would need to get used to having them brushed! seems so grown up doesnt it

i started when he had his top two and bottom two, used that little sample of toothpaste from the bounty bag. he's like Brody - mainly sucks it which makes me gag!

they may not really need it but its best to get them used to it early i think.

i keep forgetting to brush ewans --terrible mother,, sure i never brush them for long enough but it hard enough to stop him chewing the brush let alone scrub his teeth too!

I give Aimee her tooth brush to chew when she has her bath. she loves it

Thanks everyone! Where do I get the little tiny toothbrushes from?!

I started brushing Charlies from the time they popped through.
I have a little colgate toothbrush, suitable from 0-2yrs, Charlie loves her teeth brushed, it is also good for teething pain relief. You only need the tiniest of toothpaste though hun xxx
