Hi,

I know I've still got plenty of time, but my baby seems to be breech position most of the time.

Just wondering at which point did your baby go head down and did he/she stay that way?

Also, can you really notice the difference when it happens?

Thanks

Lisa xx

My babies been head generally down from about 28 weeks, but she isnt straight down, she seems to move to either side still i get kicks usually to one side at the top or straight up, and punches low down on the other, plus i use her hiccups to decide where her head is. from the ones she has now i'd say she's almost transverse which is unusual for her

I went to the hospital last night after getting pains and was told my babies head is 3/5 engaged.

At my last MW appointment my baby was breech and I think he still is... haven't noticed any major upheaval and still getting prods and kicks in the same places. I'll let you know tomorrow as I have another appointment this afternoon.

My MW says they don't worry about it until you are 36 weeks

My baby is head down and has been for a few weeks now, but I don't think it's really an issue until much later on if the baby is the other way around. My midwife said the only reason this baby probably won't move now is because it's a first and the muscles down there are good it's probably got stuck. Also like has already been said the baby can still flip this way and that.

this one had bin spinning round and round for weeks lol

at my 32 wk appoint it was 1/5 engaged x

28 weeks and stayed there. Flipped from LOL to ROL lots still, even till last week. Was engaged at 36 weeks, then 3/5 engaged at MW appointment last week.

My LO has been head down since about 30 weeks and is now fully engaged.

Baby was head down at my midwife appointment yesterday but still time for her to move if she wants to. Really hoping she don't!

we had a scan at 24 weeks and he was breach, then we had another at 28 weeks and he was head down, and he's been head down ever since.

i didn't notice him flipping around or anything being honest. m/w said it's very unusual that they would turn at this stage now, so hopefully he'll stay as he is. last week at my m/w appointment his head was still free, but i've had a lot of grinding and sharp pains down there this week, so i have a feeling he may have engaged a tiny bit :D

Sophie is already head down, i dunno if she will stay there though!

mine was head down at my 28wk check up and has been like that ever since

at my 27+2 week scan, bubs position was cephalic (which I believe is headdown) And from the pressure I have been getting, think bubs still is.

Head down since 28 week check up and laying on left, have been 3/5 engaged since 34 weeks.

Hello

Im 30+ 5 (ignore ticker, i never did fix it, lol) and my bubs is transverse.

Starting to notce it quite uncomfortable tbh.

booked in to see consultant on 23rd may, and to get a scan to check size and have the placenta checked.

I will get another scan at 34 wks, and then if still transverse, I will be offered the option of having it turned. if i take them up on this it will happen after 36wks, and they will break my waters to prevent the baby reverting back.

But I must stress that i have been told not to worry at this point - there is still loads of time for bubs to move head down.

Had MW appointment and baby is still breech, although she said there is plenty of time for him to turn, she has started to mention the C word....!! Apparently they won't try to turn him as i am Rh -ve!!

Spending as much time as possible on all fours with my bum in the air over the next few weeks!!!
