Ive stopped using the carrier car seat for my pushchair now as ky looked so squished in it. he quiet happily sits in the main pushchair. I cant remember the make but its one of the three-wheelers from mothercare.

Its driving me mad, its such a pain putting it in the car, squeezing in and out of shops and opening doors (while some rude man just stands there and watches me struggle! grrrr! ) and if i have to pump the tyres up one more time....

when did you swap to a smaller buggy? we're going on holiday soon and theres no way im carting that thing to the airport with me! Im dying to get a smaller one but it seems such a waste when i spent alot on my three-wheeler?

When Alex was about 6 months old we switched to a small pushchair
(although sometimes we still use the tandem if we're on a long walk where Lydia might get tired)

i reckon i'll keep using my loola for some time yet cos the fact that connor can face me in it is v important to me.

but i've already succumbed to the lure of the city mini stroller and use that when i'm nipping to the shops or need to catch a bus cos its sooo much lighter and more easy to manouevre. we'll be taking this one on holiday with us for definite!! :D :D

We got a Maclaren when LO turned 3 months, only because we're going on holiday this weekend and abroad in October, and the Silvercross takes up ALL the boot space  Still use the Silvercross most of the time though because it's a nicer pram and Ella can face me in it...not for much longer though..she's getting soo tall!

I had a heavy, bulky travelsystem that was mega awkward in shops and getting in and out of the car. We changed Imogen's buggy when she was around 8 months and she's happier and so am I!

i got a chicco stroller when he was about 1- because my all in one buggy was quite small and so good- i prefered it to the chicco!!
but i got my maclaren quest sport a few months ago because he's hardly in the buggy anymore and its small and lightweight- i LOVE it- its so smooth and light- it folds easy and its just wicked! i'll keep it for next time!!

when i only had 1 child i swapped to a smaller buggy when she was 6 months :)

We brought the smaller buggy when willow was 3 months as we was going on holiday and it fit better in the car.

i used the big pram through the winter but now i have switched to the smaller one and wont be using the big one anymore in fact a selling it.

We had a Quinny Buzz travel system and switched to a Zapp about a month ago (with Ryan at 8 months). I found a bargain Zapp and group 1 carseat, so we sold the Buzz so that everything would be swapped over within one months pay if that makes sense! Still got the baby carseat though, we'll sell that separately when the time comes.

The first time we realised we needed a smalled buggy was the first time we went away for the weekend with everything but the kitchen sink!!! Our Silver Cross too up way too much room in the boot so we bought a little lightweight maclaren stroller. We now use the silver cross for everyday use (it weighs a tonne but it fully reclines) and the little one for if we go away.

I changed to a petit zia at 7 weeks old! I couldnt fit anything in the boot with the loola in there so was a nightmare for when i went food shopping as had to put it in the back seat of a 3 door car!!

Thanks for all your help girlies!

thanks littlepip just ordered the petit zia! :D

Just wanted to say thanks littlepip for the advice! I love my new pushchair its sooo much easier than my old thing! got extra room in the boot now for shopping 8)
