when did you stop using sensor mat?

Hi

our little one just turned one 2 weeks ago. until now we have used the video monitor with sensor mat BUT now we are regularly witnessing the alarm going off during the night as he is moving about more and not close enough to the mat. This disturbs him and us of course BUT I am still reluctant to switch this off

when did you all stop using these mats? any advice what to do?

I stopped using the sensor mat at about 18 months with my son I think. My son was always a very still sleeper though so didn't have this issue. My daughters goes off regularly due to this but she's only nearly 8 months. Could you turn the sensitivity up? Or failing that you could get a snuzahero which clips directly onto babies nappy so would move with him xxx

need to check the sensitivity but I thought turning it up meant any movement away from it triggered it off

Not sure what to do tbh, am hoping we wont need it, but guess there is a worry at the back of my mind

Still using ours at 2.5 years I'd be lost without it. I turned the sensitivity up and also moved the mat slightly which I found helped.
