Ooh my first post in 3rd Tri I was just wondering how many weeks you were when your baby turned? My LO has been lying transverse since I was 20 weeks and Im really worried he wont turn! Wondered if any of you guys had the same thing
my little boy turned head down approx 2 weeks ago at 33 weeks - he had been breech up until then and i kept being told i would have to have a c-section, so i was really chuffed when he DID eventually turn
i really wouldnt worry hun you have another 10 weeks before a midwife would be concerened that he still hasnt turned, as i have just recently found out. I didnt think he had turned the midwife was unsure so she sent me for a scan at 36 weeks and he had turned and all was well.
he still hasnt
my babies oblique breech so lying diagonally across my stomach.
I saw the midwife yesterday who did make me feel a little better though. She said most babys WILL turn anytime up to full term which has given me 2 extra weeks to try and turn him.
I wouldnt panic to be honest you still have plenty of time and your lo will probably just turn by themselves when they are ready.
Breech babies can also turn in labour so theres no rush at all. they can be extremely painfull to carry though so make your midwife or doctor aware if your suffering.
hope it all goes smoothly for you xx
