when did babies head engage?

hi ladies

just wondering with your first, when did the head engage?

my little mans heads been engaged since 34ish weeks, but keeps popping in and out, and at my appointment today, was almost free again i can actually feel when it pops back in, the pressure and a kind of scraping feeling..

really hoping he comes in the next week so i can avoid induction you see

not until I was in labour!

Doesn't have any bearing on when baby will arrive though as I had Evie 10 days early!

melissa's head didnt engage until i was already in labour, perhaps coz she had a large head and i only have narrow hips

i cant quite remember i think it was 34 weeks or something..i remember the pressure though..uncomfy!!
i read in one of my books that in your first pregnancy baby usually
engages at between 33-37 weeks (though from what others on here have said it might not be until the birth!)
and in subsequent pregnancies baby does not engage until labour!

My LO engaged early, popped back out and did that a few times. Finally engaged when I went into labour.

Think she started to engage about 35 weeks, but wasn't fully til labour.

my first engaged at 36 weeks and she was 9 days late

My daughters head didnt engage til just before delivery. They felt after my waters broke and hadnt engaged then. x

had 36+1 MW appt and was told bubs was head down but free

getting pressure down low from time to time though and thinking it is in and out.
