When can you give egg?

Austin's 5 months old, can I give him egg now or are you supposed to wait until 6 months?

i read somewhere that you can give them egg yolk from 6 months but i think you have to wait till after 8-months- 1 year until you give them egg whites . I'll try and find where i got that info from though just to double check .

I have just looked it up and found this info. I didn't actually know this and so have given Jake cooked egg yolk and white a few times before.

I think at 5 months it would be okay. Getting them to eat its another thing. Its never been something thats went down particularly well with my 2. I dont get those kids, whats not to like about eggs.

I've given mine egg since they were all around 5 months. I told the health visitor too and she didn't say not to.
