What's your claim to fame or famous people you've met!

I was in Dixons in Manchester airport and I looked up and Ryan Giggs was standing next to me looking at cameras. The whole Man U team stood next to my mum (at the airport) but she thought they were a 'bunch of kids on a school trip' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My DH worked on Hollyoaks (still does occasionally) and my dad lives next door to Cameron McIntosh (I can hear you all say who as you read this  )

Oh, and I got chatty with Shane Ritchie a few years ago (before he started in Eastenders) when he came into the restaurant where I was manager, every night after he'd appeared in the panto in town :D

I have stroked Jenson Buttons helmet  (he is a formula one driver)

My second cousin twice removed is Greg Patres (he played Clint in Brookside-Katies boyfirend) he was shot by Ron Dixon??

Saw David Blaine living in his box in London, he waved at me (it was day one in the box so it was still a novelty waving I suppose  )

Went to Chester races many years ago, and saw David Beckham, Paul Ince and the other Man United footie players in the bar (they were surrounded by adoring females...
Haha me too I swear his wave was direct at me :rotfl:

Me and OH wet out to lunch today and on the next table was the actress that palyed Angie Reynolds from Emmerdale. When I was younger I met Ruth Maddox (Hi De Hi fame), Graham out of the Grumbleweeds and Canon fron Cannon& Ball, they were all sitting together in Luton Airport. I was so happy to get their autographs.

Met Eric Cantona, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Roy Keane, Lee Sharpe and the rest of the team when I used to go to the Man U training ground.

Met a fair few F1 drivers, Eddie Irvine (was obsessed by him), Rubens Barrichello, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard, Damon Hill, Jacque Villeneuve, some Britsh superbike riders James Hayden, John Reynolds, Neil Hodgson, Chris Walker, have met Carl Fogerty plus I got waved at by Valetino Rossi (out of 1000's of people of course it was me he waved to ;)) I sound like such a stalker but I used to go to alot of races and just got lucky when waiting by the paddock.

However my faves have to be Toady and Karl Kennedy at a neighbours night in Melbourne and Nick from Home & Away whe we went to the beach where it was filmed (have stood by the surf club). I also sat o Percy Sugden's knee (old guy out of Coroatio Street) Mine are all so cheesy, OH has better ones, he has met and swapped t-shirts with Marilyn Manson ad met System of a Down , hmmph.

I've met a load of bands, Aerosmith, Weezer, Black Sabbath (but not ozzy) Supergrass, Beck, had a few crazy nights with Bentley Rhythm Ace...driving round the city centre on a goped at 5 in the morning (!) the singer from Placebo also stole my lighter LOL I met Nikki Six (if anyone knows who he is anymore) and Dave Lee Roth, and Brian May haha erm

I've met Jasper Carrot a few times, me and the Comedian Arthur Smith (the old guy) went on a drinking binge- that was really funny and kind bizarre cos he was wearing really rude fancy dress cos I dared him to LOL

I've also met Steve Lamaq lots of times cos he DJ'd at a club I used to hang out in. Hmm who else.... loads of other DJ's, the Chemical Brothers, etc

Probably more I forget.

My mate used to work as a steward at the big arenas. On the night red hot chili peppers were playing she was stood next to an old man. Only turned out to be the drummer!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

I kissed Ryan Giggs at a club in cardiff...on cheek and OH was there..blow!
Touched Wolf from gladiators balls accidently...was swinging my arms walking down road in Cardiff and clipped Wolfs goolies..he was in panto!
Went to school with EMF - random...remember 'unbelievable'? Also met progidy / utah staints through EMF as they gigged in our local centre! :D

ohh i forgot the twins in hollyoaks went to my school in sussex, but they year below me.

i went trick or treating when i was about 16 and went to paul scholes' (plays for manchester united) house and he gave us all 50p.

a few years ago i waited for ages after a game at old trafford to get ryan giggs to sign my match programme. i was the most excited person there and surrounded by little kids. he signed my book and i was dancing round after going 'ooo ryan giggs just signed my book' and when i looked at it, his bloody pen had run out and it was just a big smudge.

not really my claim to fame but my boyfriend works with karl pilkingtons girlfriend. if you dont know who he is, he does those podcast things with ricky gervais and steve merchant...not really that good but i like telling people that.
he works for the bbc too and regularly speaks to gary lineker and alan hanson. again, not my claims to fame but im having his child so i can totally use them.
he also films gigs and stuff and has done things for pete doherty and graham coxon.

i havent actually met ANY of these people myself and i am quite bitter about that

I've met a few but no one really famous. Sinbad when he was in Brookside in Liverpool town centre, Ashley from corrie in a pub in Warrington, Steven Gerrard in southport, Baros (liverpool player) in B&Q in Speke also Will mellor and Ralf little when they were filming 2 pints of larger and a packet of crisps as it was filmed right outside our old house. That was so embarrasing as I fancied him rotten (still do) .

Ohhhh Will Mellor, well jelous lol, he's well fit

When I was living in Amsterdam in the 90's I met Adam Clayton, the bassist in U2. Came into the place I was working. Nice guy but seemed a bit off his face. Had a model type on his arm.

Also met Stuart Adamson (lead singer with Big Country) back then also. Was a really nice guy and happy to chat. His passport was falling apart so I had to have a good squizz at it and make sure it was valid. We joked about his mullet 80's hairdo as his passport had been extended for another 10 years. He said it caught many people by surprise  He died back in 2001 :(

Uhhh towered over Ally McCoist at Bristol airport when checking in for a flight to Scotland one time. Mind you, I do stand at almost 6ft in heels  But he was much smaller than he seems on TV.

And my last one is I am the co creator of Figwit. A dubious honour but it was a lot of fun. Go read up on it it if you really want to know more :moon: Figwit Lives is the site we started.

I were on GMTV when i were about 5/6 but i didnt meet any one famous. I were dancing in my under wear at sheffield Uni and they put it on the tv  Was fun but i were only on a quick second :D

The Chuckle Brothers at Butlins! :rotfl:

I never met them but when I was little my mum and dad had taken me and my brother out for the day and the Chuckle Brothers were in a roadside cafe we went into having Breakfast!

I couldn't stand them then and I was only about 8.

To me, to you FOOLS.

I love them!!! I make little man watch them when they are on telly lol.

I also saw the girl who used to play Dani in Hollyoaks and she was the most stuck up horrid person. I was thinking 'its only bl**dy Hollyoaks love not Hollywood'- arrogance :shakehead:
