Me and Max have our first baby sensory class tomorrow (yay!) But problem is he always has his milk around 1, and the class starts at 1. Due to his reflux I have to keep him upright for 20 mins after feeding, and feeding can take 15 mins so that's nearly class over..

Do I try feeding him at say half 12 so he's eaten before we go? I hate feeding him if he's not signalling he's hungry.. I could try moving the 10am feed a little earlier too

Does anyone else feed at certain times for reasons like this? I feel bad like I'm forcing him to eat to fit in with my plans lol

Xxx

No don't feel bad. I quite often feed Harry to suit droning on where we're going.

I did it today as we went to a baby sensory play thing and he would of been due a feed as soon as we got there so I just topped him up before we left- which was only about an hour after I'd last fed him

I just think of it a bit like us. I'd had my breakfast but then ate a banana to keep me going :-)

Yeah thats true, I usually would book or plan things around his feeding times and it just so happens that most of the time his feeding never interrupts it (apart from like a day out obvs)

I'm sure he'll still take it half hour earlier, he might just have a bit less maybe

Harry doesn't usually feed as much if he has it a bit earlier but then I just try and give him another little top up to get back on track to suit time of day etc

H has his feed at 11.30 which is the same time as sensory so I feed him before we go then just readjust the feed times for the rest of the day. Some people feed their lo's there but I think it is a waste tbh as they miss so much. Also if he has his bottle then he will be happier for the class!!

Yeah I don't want him to miss out on the fun :D

I'm scared ahh! Xxx

Yeah, I would change feeding times slightly, you don't want both of you to miss out.
