....to get your baby to sleep? I haven't had to do anything odd yet, Cahal loves his sleep bless him, but I just had a message off a friend of mine who had to drive round for more than 30 miles at 11pm last night to get his 1 year old to drift off....have you ever had to do anything similar?

Poor love's got work this morning too

Never had to do anything like that but during the day if we're somewhere really noisy and bright, a blanket covering his face (but not over his nose and mouth obv) usually does the trick to getting him to sleep :)

Poor thing :( I'd be knackered!

I know people that put Moses basket on top of washing machine cos baby went to sleep with the vibrations :)

I must be a bit mean lol, She has a bed time, she goes down, n i leave her unless shes really screaming. She settles on her own eventually.

I've done the driving on numerous occasions! Infact, there's probably some proper crazy stuff ive done but can't remember!

It sounds like Im torturing the poor girl but unless I put a hand over Paiges chest to pin her down (obivoulsy with very little pressure) she wont sleep. Shes done it since she was born. I had to tightly swaddle her until she was about 6 months because if her arms were free then Id be there for hours with her crying.

Its not quite putting her on a washing machine but holding your baby down is a bit wierd lol.

Emily goes to sleep really easily :-). One of my friends still rocks her boy to sleep in her arms.....he turned 2 last week!!!!!!!!!

My mate's sister used to do this and both her kids still sleep badly and they're both at Primary school now

Oh no I wouldn't have that. Not fair on the mum or the little boy.
