What is this pain in my side !?

Hi , I’m 24 weeks pregnant and I was out yesterday walking around some shops ( not many and not for long) when I started getting waves of pain on my left side lower stomach. Like the most intense stitch ever! I don’t want to sound like a wuss as I know I have to deal with labour soon but it really was so painful! It took my breath away and I couldn’t talk. It lasted around 20 minutes but eased off when I sat down. I thought maybe I had just been on my feet for too long which also sounded a bit silly, but then today whilst standing cooking, the same pain started to come on again ! And I hadn’t moved out the house!
Anyone have any ideas what this could be? Only the one side too? Xx

I've been experiencing this for a while! I'm only 20 weeks but have been told by midwife it's classic symptoms of stretching ligaments. I would mention it to your midwife though just to be sure!

I get these as well. Perhaps not as intense as yours but feels like a stabbing pain lower right side of belly. Been told its the uterus stretching . Perhaps call midwife if you are worried but think you are ok x
