What is this on my scan picture??

I have just been showing a friend my scan pics as she wanted to see them and she said ohh wahts those 2 circles in babys tummy. I had noticed them but no given it much thought..what do you think it is? Do you think it may be something to worry about?

I think if it was anything to worry about the scan people would have said something, they scan loads of babies so would notice that, especially as they would have looked at it again to print it off.

It's not kidneys or some other internal organ is it??

You could always ask midwife or someone if they know, i have a scan pic and you cant tell what it is at all

I think if it was something to worry about the sonographer would have said. Chances are it was a little blimp on the scan. Baby looks very healthy so I'd try not to worry about it.

Maybe its the bubbas ovaries and you're having a girl!!

ohh crap wish she hadnt pointed it out as ive been looking at scan pics on the net and cant see another with those circles. Im not even going to say to hubby he thinks i find think to stress about on this forum...when actually i usually stress myself out!

dont panic, they were on mine too, i had a boy, do you know what you are having?
the little circles are fluid that has gathered in the stomach and maybe the bladder? thats what i was told anyhow (i just had to ask) the baby "swallows" fluid when it practises "breathing" thats all and it just comes out the other end, its just normal bodily functions, at least everythings working just fine.x

They're very noticable and I really don't believe the sonographer would have let you walk out of there if there was anything wrong

My baby had a beak at the 12 week scan LOL fortunately, it was just her hands but it did look like a beak! My brother kept calling her his little chicken for ages, now he can say niece

The baby is laying at a funny angle so it could be pelvis, bladder, ovaries - there are lots of possibilies!! xx

rach your a star (and have saved me from stressing). She was a senior sonographer so hopefully she would have said.
I never found out what im having no..im feeling boy though at the mo. Did they say thats something mainly boys do?

As all the others have said, I'm sure there is nothing to worry about otherwise they would have said and/or written something in your notes.

When I had my scan on Monday, the sonographer showed us the stomach (which looks like a black hole!) and she said it was a good sign that they could see it showing like that as shows the baby is swallowing in there.
