It's a lot more red in RL and wry "bumpy" like spots

It's got progressively worse over the last couple of days and he's really snuffly

I'm on high alert as any infection just now could make Aaron seriously ill due to the steroid treatment.

Yeah maybe. Is it just on his cheeks? Have you been out in the wind and cold? Could it be dry skin with a bit of irritation?x

We've not really been out.

He was projectile vomiting everywhere last night too ... But nothing so far today

He's off his milk but takin solids fine

And he will not stop shouting!

Teeth?

Mmmmm yeah I might be inclined to thinking that. Especially if he's a bit grumpy! Poor little dude. X

I was just going to ask is it teeth? Poor mite. All you both need this week. Xx

Eczema usually starts in a joint (fingers, elbow, knees etc) does he have it there or anywhere else? Did it come on suddenly in such a large patch? it usually comes on in a tiny patch and as its scratched it gets bigger. Is he scratching it? If he's scratching it then it might be eczema. if not then i doubt it is as eczema is so horrendously itchy. Something else that shows its a sign of eczema are what look like little tiny clusters of bubbles under some of the rash bumps, if they are scratched and they burst a little clear liquid is released. If that goes on another part of the skin it spreads.

Hopefully it's not eczema!xxx

That look like the exact rash Harry had a few weeks ago. It evebtually spread over his whole face. The HV said it was milk rash but i was never convinced. I put it down to a sweat rah because he's a tummy sleeper and he dribbles a lot in his sleep. Does Aaron sleep on his tummy? My Sister gave me sone if her Double Base cream and i religiously applied a thin layer 3 times a day and it cleared up in about a week xImageUploadedByTapatalk1368535107.547358.jpg
That was Harry's when it was at it's worst x

sofia is a real gruml atm and is completely off her solids and only wants milk lol

He doesn't sleep on his tummy - but he is slabbering like a dog!

I apply diprobase to Aaron religiously, its just popped up out of the blue.

Will try to keep it dry and apply cream to see if it will help, it looks really uncomfortable for him, little sausage

Bless him. Harry's looked sore too but didn't seem to bother him. Does he chew his hands? If he does i guess he could be wiping dribble over his cheeks causing the rash? x

Yeah his hand are permanentky in his mouth, and hid face is soaking wet these days

I'm watching this thread. O was taken off the dummy yesterday & since then he's been attempting to get fingers in his mouth & slabbering down his chin in the process. He woke up this morning with a similar rash on his chin. I've been trying to keep it dry & slapping on the coconut oil.

Hope it's only teething rash hun, it does look like milk spots couples with dry skin from having his hands in his mouth. Do you have a thermometer that you can take his temp daily with? Just to check for infection?
Xxx

Yeah been checking his temp religiously and it's been fine.

It seemed better when he got up this morning, but after breakfast it's come back

I've slathered on the diprobase and hoping for the best

I was very very frustrating and depressing to deal with eczema, my hubby was worried since i have to be happy during pregnancy. He searched a lot and got the product named foderma. Its awesome and cured well .No more rashes.

Carter has this - which gets worse when teething.

His is eczema - so quite often takes a steroidal cream to sort. Usually his cheek and under his mouth.

He also has CMPA with his eczema but didnt really start flaring up until teething started.
