OH is away on Easter Monday as he has a conference thing the other side of the country starting at 9am the next day. My parents are visiting one of the days but other than that, no real plans. Maybe a walk over the Quantock hills, lunch out somewhere but thats it.

I never give Easter Eggs. Even to kids. If I get children anything for Easter is tends to be something other than chocolate. They usually get plenty of that from everyone else. Nor do I get given them. Overpriced and overpackaged and I feel guilty for the consumer waste of it all from our house   So all that is a no no.

Again I tend to feel about Easter as I do Christmas. Its a religious celebration that has become commercialised and lost most of its meaning to many. So I opt for the low key approach as far as possible. That's just my feelings on it :)

I'm not a big fan of easter myself. It doesn't really mean anything to me, though if anyone wants to give me choccy I'm not going to complain!

We received some eggs from my family when we went down to visit them a few weeks ago. They were eaten long ago!

On saturday we're going to the maternity unit for a tour, and to discuss my birth plan. I'm excited about it :cheer: :cheer:
Hopefully they'll give me a tens machine to take home too
Later in the day OH is doing some work on his parents garden that he promised to do ages ago.
It's a bit annoying cos he still has loads of diy stuff to do at our house! :x

Apparantly he's gonna make a start on decorating the bedrooms on monday. I keep telling him the baby will be here before it's done at this rate but he doesn't seem in any real rush  He says if it's not done in time at least he can do it in his 2 weeks paternity leave, I think he's underestimating how tired he'll be!

On Friday, my hubby and I are popping to Durham for the day (it is only 10 miles away, we thought the traffic would be too bad to go much further)
We intend to go for a lovely walk by the river, visit the Cathedral, drink latte and eat chocolate cake and visit some book shops. Sounds great!

On Saturday we have a wedding to go to. I am really looking forward to it because it is a close friend so all our friends are going to be there. It will our last big bash with them all before the little one comes.

Sunday will be a quiet day with OH's family. We haven't thought about Monday yet.....see how we feel.

No definite plans, daren't go too far just in case.

Will probably visit relatives and then spend the rest of my time bouncing on my ball and trying to get this baby out :D

Hello
On Friday me and OH are going to get last minute bits and bobs, particulary DIY stuff.

On Sat my sister is coming up and she loves history so we are going to a border reivers fesitval, we are then spending the evening with OH family, my future sister in law is cooking us all a big meal.

Sun, another event this time in the castle near us then a nice quite lunch with OH, my sister and her dog.

Will be busy but nice, hope I get a big thortons easter egg, have hinted :)
x

Not too sure yet

Going to be watching the match on Sunday then having a roast :D

I'm thinking, go do a spot of shopping with vouchers on friday,
Saturday i'm at work :( as much as i love shopping i do wish shops would close sometimes so i can have the day off!!!
Sunday i'll prob go to church in the morning (havnt been since babies been showing, so a little scared as we're catholic and i'm obviously not married) then i'm sure i'll just relax more
Monday i'm going ot castle combe to watch some racing (apparnetly) lol

Plans? What, apart from general baby-related preparation? None! For us, it'll be painting the rest of the nursery (he's done half a job), finishing off the washing of the baby stuff and taking all our junk to charity / second hand book shops to clear a bit of room.

As for your other question YES I have an Easter egg already. My stepdad popped up last weekend with his wife and they are so ace... they got me a CHOCOLATE ORANGE egg which is amazing because they didn't even know that had been one of my cravings! Yum! :cheer:

I'm not an easter fan, although ducks are one of my fave animals so having the shops filled with fluffy cute ones is good :)
And i NEVER say no to chocolate!
Like Sherlock i think they are overpriced and overpackaged - though saying that Cadburys have an egg out this year, with sweets inside that is just wrapped in foil and they were 2 for £2 in Tesco - so that's not too bad.

I'm a fan of crafty easter presents, like decoratibg eggs and random things.Lol.

I have already eaten a few easter eggs   and i know my mums got me one. My OH has been pointed in the direction of my fave choc too... hehe

As for actual plans? We're going away easter Monday for 2 night! WOooooooo, our honeymoon at last :p
