What is a show?

I know that you get a show before you go into labour, but I dont know what it is yet??

Dont wanna ask midwife because my midwife just annoys me!!

i'm not an expert.. its similar to a plug!!! it's breaks away when we're due to give birth.. my friend had a show the morning her little boy was born. Not everyone gets one... se went the loo in the morning for a wee and heard a plopping noise... suprised she looking into the loo and saw something similar to a large blob of jelly - blood clot i supose!!!

i had a show with both of my children, both times it was when i wiped from having a wee , it was like they have said a blob of like jelly, mine was streaked with blood, which is normal.

with both mine they were born on the same day as having the show-although i have known people to have the show days before baby arrives.

I didn't have a show with my first, with my second it was like rubbery jelly, clear like snot!
