what have you guys got planned for valentines day?

the day after is very special for us, the first time we get to say hello to our little baby (or babies!) lol Deans a twin and his mums a twin!

im not sure what to do, as meals are pretty expensive, and were strapped for cash!

I've got my scan 13th so the plan was to spend 13th together, find out the sex and buy some baby things. then just spend all night and day in bed for valentines. we dont have much money so i dont think he'd planned much. Dont see any of it happening now though as hes being a twat, agh well, at least i should still be buzzing off seeing my baby again :)

men have an amazing way of being tw*ts right about the time your looking forward to something dont they! :wall:

LOL, mine was being a tw@t at the weekend but that might also be something to do with me being an emotional pregnant lady and blowing it out of proportion  .

Oh the bieng a twat thing isnt unusual, but being a twat since thursday and today going on about being sorry but not knowing what he wants well actually that isnt unusual either lol :rotfl:
I'm just pissed off cos he's now ruined all my lovely plans for valentines, and he ruined the weekend and all the plans for that too :(

We are poor too but gonna take a walk to the beach where we live and have a picnic, doing the cheesey things like making a cd for him

We will do cards and a little prezzie. I really want one of the "mum to be" signs for the car as I'll be 13 weeks so a double celebration. I've dropped enough hints but I think he's oblivious. Will probably have to tell my mum to tell him.

My DH is useless at planning anything even remotely romantic so nothing special happening with us- I normally try to plan something like a nice meal but too tired to even think about it now!
I've tried to teach myself for years never to expect anything but even as I'm writing this there is still part of me hoping that he will take the iniative this year and do something special!

Hi hun

I have bought a packet of soppy credit card size cards from Clintons with different messages on, I am going to leave them around the house for him to find

We aren't going out for a meal or anything as it's so expensive, will prob cook something nice or see about us getting a takeaway.

I hope everyone has a lovely time :D

Xxx

Ooooo this thread has just reminded me that when i woke up this morning there was a tiny little parcel on the lap top and i went to peek and BF launched himself accross the room and told me not too peek coz it was a little present. Now I wanna know....he put it in his pocket...bugger.

OH has band practice on Valentine's Day  - the only day everyone could make it apparently....! But he ahs promised to take me out for a meal the day before :cheer:

As usual, we are going to do NOTHING on Valentine's Day because it's a corporate waste of cash, and then we're going out for a meal exactly a week later for my BIRTHDAY :cheer:

Woohoo! Have I mentioned it's my BIRTHDAY soon?!

I don't have anything planned but that reminds me, I'm going to have to walk up town to buy a card one lunchtime this week :D

Happy early birthday debecca :cheer: My OH has his birthday soon after Valentines Day so I need to remember to make a fuss of him instead of him making a fuss of me like he has been doing since we found out we were pregnant :D

My DH is taking me out to dinner at my favourite restaurant. If I can manage to eat anything from their menu...

I've booked a surprise weekend away near Hastings in a lovely little cottage. He doesn't know yet. I feel guilty about spending the money, but it's the last splurge we're going to have on ourselves this year!

I need a break from work, I'm so stressed out, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Its dh's b'day on Valentine's day, but I haven't planned anything for him yet. I normally just get a nice card off him for Valentines day, and maybe some flowers. I'd prefare the money to the flowers though!

xx

dh has taken the day off work so we can go for lunch when the girls are at nursery :D as it difficult to get a babysitter on valentines night.

I have also hinted for roses, i have been with dh for 12 years and had roses about twice

We have bought tickets to a Take That Tribute band which includes a 5 course meal. It is at the hotel where we got married in the summer. I'm really looking forward to it but we booked it before we knew about the baby and now I'm struggling to eat. We have pre-ordered the food and it's a bit fancy for my liking if I'm honest. Hope I can manage it and keep it down long enough to have a dance to the band

A BIG FAT NOTHING!!!
Hell will freeze over pigs will fly and Gordon Brown will become a great PM Before James will do anything for Valentines

HIs words.... whats the point in buying flowers they cost to much and they die in a few days anyway you can see them in the garden?.

You eat chocolate all the time so why buy chocolate?
I am helping the enviroment not buying you a card anyway there a load of rubbish mushy c***
If you want to go out for a meal you should know by now YOU'LL HAVE TO BOOK IT beacuse i always forget or dont get round to it (man speak for cant be bloody bothered)

This is the same for our anniversery each year never bought me a thing
Though the week of our anniversery he bought himslef a nice new motorbike :x

He did buy me a stunning necklace for my Birthday 3 years ago. :D
He always buys me birthday pressies
the last 2 years no Xmas pressie WE decided not to to save money

But i forgive him because the best pressie he has ever given me is his continuing LOVE, he looks after me, thinks of me always, shows me he loves me all the time with hug, kisses, a stroke of my hair holding my hand cuddleing me in public
and with that love me have made our wonderful Son

I haven't got anyone to share it with  PITY PARTY woo hoo lol

No, I'm fine really though!! I'm more excited at the fact my step dad is taking my mum to see Grease in London! I'm so damn jealous...

Hope you ladies all have a fantastic day! (And night, but I guess the work has already been done!  )

xxx

Me and my OH have our 4D scan on the 16th, we decided this would be our valentines pressie to one another and so that's all we'll do.
My OH asked if he could buy me anything else and i said no. Lol. If i'd have said yes i'd have felt the need to buy him something and i have no money.Lol.

My OH will prob cool a meal for me on 14th, he does love to cook (handy really as I love to eat :D )
