what fish/meat can they have?

I think pretty much anything babe, just aviod things like smoked fish or meat like bacon, as it has high sodium levels. and aviod heavily boned fish like herrings, and any fish you do give check it thoroughly for bones first.

They can't have shellfish til 1 year either :D

My boss wanted me to give Ella a mussel the other day  I was like no way! Its so slippy and small I was scared of her choking on it!

ruben had fish pie with salmon and cod last week, and he loved it. i'm pretty sure it's fine!

why don't you take some of your normal dinner out before adding salt (ruben likes other seasonings, like cinnamon, nutmeg and even curry powder!! so i just omit the salt from his portion), and mash/puree it - i've done that for a few weeks now no probs. and i give him some whole pieces as finger foods as well at the same time.

Yeah Noah always has what were having for dinner, either as finger food or mashed up. I did salmon in a dill and mustard sause the other night with new potatoes and veg, and he loves fish pie that I do with cod and I just pick the praws out of his. Just make sure if you are using jars of sauce that the whole meal doesnt contain more than 1gm of salt or 0.3gm of sodium.
