just wondering what else i can start making for keira now?
she is nearly 5 and half months old. All i make her at mo is carrots, sweet potato, butternut squash, broccoli etc
what else can i add?

Cauliflour is also a good one, easy to mash and Ella loved it.

Have you tried her with some fruits? Banana is good becuase it's easy to mash. Ella loves mashed banana mixed with a ptit flous yoghurt. and if she cope well with finger foods how about Kiwi, Ella ate this really well the other day but she is a bit older, if not then try it mashed.

I cant think of many ideas at the mo, Ill get my thinking cap on

what about broccoli and cauliflower chees?

There is a recipe on here for cheese sauce and gravy for babies hang on and i'll see if i can find it

CHEESE SAUCE
2 x 5ml t spoons cornflour
120ml milk (breast formula or full fat cows)
1 x t spoon hard cheese(cheddar)
mix all in cold milk then heat until thickened
I usually triple these amounts and make batches to freeze, but only freeze if you are using cows milk

GRAVY 2 x 5ml t spoons cornflour
120ml veg stock made from vegatable water cooled without salt
1/2 t-spoon tomato puree
Mix ingredients in cold stock and heat until thickened
Don't use stock cubes unless they have no salt or additives as these are unsuitable for babaies and really difficult to get hold of!!

I hope these help

Hi

Philadelphia cheese makes a really easy cheesy sauce for brocolli and cauliflower - just mix them all together when the veg are still hot and the cheese melts beautifully and makes a nice creamy consistency.

Olivia loves avocado and that's really easy to mush down.
