I know I shouldn't compare and every child is different but I do worry that Evie is a little skinny mini. She is 21+ months and she only weighs 25LB (she was 9LB born) :( She is a happy little soul and not at all sickly (apart from constant colds from nursery but I think thats normal :wall: ) but she is a little mouse with her eating. Both OH and myself are quite tall and skinny but we both have really big appetites.

I'm just curious what your little one weighed at 21months? I don't know if I should take her to the health visitor, although I don't know what more I could do, I certainly don't want to start forcing her to eat so it becomes an issue. Help! :D

Nathans 21 months and I had him weighed a couple of weeks ago and he was 28lb 4oz. He has lost half a pound since August and only 1lb heavier than he was in March so doesn't seem to be gaining any weight now. He has stopped drinking milk though (his choice) so I think its that. He was 9lb 5oz born. Just checked my daughters book and at 21 months she was 23lb 10oz and she was 8lb 11oz born.

ermmm cadens just gone 7months and weighs 23lb 2 is that a bad sign then on cadens behalf?

/\ no all babies are different.

My son is weeny to. hes 10 months and only weighs 18lbs8oz he still fits in age 3-6month clothes! hes very petite compared to children a similar age to himself in nursery. i dont care tho hes my miniman! :cheer:

As long as babies are healthy, I don't think their size is important. My little girl is only four months but she's already in 9-12 month stuff and weighs just shy of 21lb! HV has never been worried and neither have I. Yet my friend's baby who's one year old is smaller, but he's just as happy and healthy! x

 mmm, bit of a difference there! No shock really because I know they are all so different.

Thanks for replying girls, I think I was struggling last week because she was hardly eating anything, turns out she had a stinking cold (which I've now got  ) and obviously just wasn't feeling like stuffing her face. She's back on food this week :cheer:
