Well, my little girlies are already here (and have names - even though we thought we could never settle on names :p), so I don't have a baby to name anymore haha. I just came across a name I hadn't heard before and I wasn't sure if I loved it or thought it was a little strange haha, so I wanted to hear your opinions...
the name is Milda. I think it's Lithuanian.
I love the name Matilda, which we almost used for one of our twins, and still is on our list if we ever have another girl - and it's quite similar to Milda.

What do you think?

Hmm... to me it feels like you spelt Matilda wrong! Sorry! I feel like you'd be setting your child up for a lifetime of correcting "no, it's M-I-L-D-A, not MaTilda..." So for that reason, it's a no from me.

Congratulations on the arrival of your baby girls btw xx

Thanks ladies for your answers! I appreciate your honesty. Note: UK not ready haha
:p I wasn't too sure whether I liked it or not... but I definitely wouldn't name my child Milda (if I ever have another one)...just thought it could be nice haha but now that you've mentioned mildew that's all I can think when hearing it :D

You've had you girls? Congrats :) what did you name them? Xx

Thank you!! Yesss, they were born April 10th. Still can't believe they'll already be three weeks old tomorrow! I haven't really had the time to 'return fully' to the forum as I'm quite busy with two little babies at home and also our living situation is quite difficult atm. So I have basically just been reading posts on here quietly and leaving a comment every now and then when I had the time.
We named our girls Violet and Myla. Violet had been decided for quite a while and then we finally chose Matilda for her twin sister, but when we saw her for the first time she just didn't feel like a Matilda, as much as I loved that name.
The funny thing was I held her in my arms I thought to myself 'this is not Matilda...', but I didn't know how to tell OH as I knew he loved the name. And then he said he was afraid to tell me, but he wasn't really 'feeling' the name anymore. We both just felt she was a Myla. Violet felt right the minute I saw her.
Maybe next one will be a Matilda? Still love that name.
But isn't that strange?? Haha

Aww, lovely names :) you have to go with your heart. Save it for another :) congratulations again. Xxx

Congratulations on your girls I love there names, have they got middle names?
