We're staying team yellow so we need a name for each gender.

If a girl we're going for Iris and middle name Esther unless hubby gets his way as he really loves the name Autumn or Harley, but I think people will think they're too American and baby will be a summer bubs unless they come late September when Autumn starts according to hubbys googling!

And for a boy we've only got the middle names of James and David after our grandfathers. Very frustrating! I love Noah and Henry but hubby really doesn't like either one

I really love the names Iris and Esther. Do think though that they don't really flow well together, but then how often do you actually say both names together I suppose. Really like the name Autumn too actually and Summer is a lovely name if baby is born in the summer Iris Autumn sounds nice together.

Both your middle names for a boy go well with Noah (which I love) and Henry, so you just need to convince DH now. Good luck xx

I think Iris Autumn sounds beautiful! Iris is a really pretty name.

I've picked Elliott for a boy (not pg yet!) and already have an Isaac. I heard Leon again today and I love it but DH refused it when pg with DS - he liked Leo but I couldn't get away with that.

Think we've picked iris autumn! Hubby is over the moon because his grandma was an iris. I've definitely noticed a trend with a lot of the older names coming back. At work i register so many little children with names like Stanley and evelyn. Even a couple of wilfreds! Think ill get my way with Noah or Henry. I really liked Jacob too! We know a little Leon and a baby Leonardo. Very cute and fitting names for the cheeky boys who have them. Thanks girls!

Esther is not really my cup of tea tbh, but would definitely prefer it to Summer or Autumn...oh and I loooove Iris!! Gorgeous name
