What do you and LO wear when wearing?

I have so many coats and tend to match with my outfit and the weather but since becoming a baby wearer I tend to put on a longer coat now with the wrap over or a short one open with the wrap under.

The weather is so darn wet at the moment and I havnt figured out how to keep us and the wrap all dry so tend to use the pram when its really wet, other peoples ideas would be great so I can hopefully start using the wrap on rainy days.

Esme was warm enough up until a few weeks ago to just have a cardi on over her normal clothes and as she is still little her legs didnt poke out of the bottom of the wrap belt so she was snug just in her tights but as its now so cold i have had to pop her in a snow suit and keep an eye on her not getting too warm.

My sling cradles Ivy right up next to me so I wear my normal clothes and because last year I bought a loose coat (they were really in fashion last year lol it makes you look pregnant!) it fits over us both so if its cold I hold that round her to keep her extra warm! If it rains I just use a umbrella or if I havent got far to go I take the rain cover off the pram and just loosly hold it over her hehe not too tight because I think breathing is important lol! I got her a big snow suit though and that doesnt fit with her in the sling! Its way too big for her and she just wont fit so I have to put her in the pram if shes wearing that. Most the time she wears a little coat and hat over her normal clothes and if its a bit colder I stuff a blanket in round her.

I put him under my outer layer. So, if I am wearing a cardigan or a coat it goes over the wrap. Normally he is toasty because of my bodyheat so I don't wrap him up too much. The most he has been in is a longsleeved bodysuit, corduroy overalls and a fuzzy jacket. If it is only lightly raining I will use an umbrella or put my coat over him if I wasn't prepared. So far if it is very rainy he has been going in his pram because when it rains here an umbrella doesn't do much, since the water comes in sideways. Some come with rainsuits but I don't have that kind.

Same. I always tie on the wrap/mei tai under my coat though so have to wear a scarf now as it's bloody cold!
