What day have I ovulated?

From my understanding you get your positive or peak opk and then you ovulate 12-24 hours or sometimes a bit later than that and after ovulation your temp rises. I got 5 days of flashing CB faces and my 1 step sticks lines were getting darker as each day webt on but I didn't get a peak on CB opk till yesterday on day 6( I had ovulation pains the night before) and 1 step line was sme colour as cobtrol. However, my temp risen from 36.0 to 36.2. The same day as my positive result. I tested with the one step this morning and the line is even darker than the control line so 100% positive opk but my temp risen again to 36.4 and was still having some ovulation pains last night. What day have I ovulated? Surely my temp shouldn't be up at this point ? The first test is definitely positive. Your temp goes up 12-24 hrs after ovulation. Your LH surge hits your bloodstream before it ends up in the urine so you could have ovulated really soon after the surge and had your temp go up 12 hrs later... I think some women ovulate just before the positive test because of this reason, so it could be that? Also temping is not an exact science - other things affect it, like the weather. If you do it for a few months you should start to see a pattern. Good luck! x

I the same thing happened last cycle with my CB opk and my temp but I didn't keep testing with 1 step last month. I just don't know wether to go with the opks saying I am fertile or my temp saying I have ovulated. My test line is darker today than yest as you see in tbe pics and my temp is going up at same time...so confusing... could you still get a LH surge after you ovulate ? If not then my temps aren't corrolating? Unless its because my temps slowly climb up which happened last time too? Maybe takes a few days ?

This can get so confusing. You could just dtd every other day to be on the safe side. Also, some women ovulate more than once a month! With the green test, the darkest line is your positive. What's your normal luteal temperature? I'd wait a week and look at the overall pattern as it's all relative. That's why it takes a few months to get to grips with doing BBT...a rise or a fall only means something in context. You are more fertile the 2 days before ovulation anyway so if you dtd around now it should be spot on.

I rarely get a textbook correspondence between opks and temps. Your EWCM is a good guide as well!

I think to give yourself the best chance you need to be BD'ing before ovulation anyway so the swimmers are there ready for the egg and continue to BD on O day and the few days after as the tests don't pinpoint the exact moment the egg is released.

Definitely positive OPK though so fingers crossed for you!

So confusing! I havent tried OPKS yet and this is scaring me lol.

Might be too much TMI but I think checking your cervix position can also be an indicator?
