My lb is getting his hair cut in an hour and I still can't figure out whether to get it just trimmed or styled? Don't know wheher he's really too young to have it styled. Such a silly post but I really don't know. Your thoughts?

I have a daughter but I just got her an all over trim for her first haircut x

I'm thinking the same, he doesn't need anything fancy atm and his hair grows so flipping quick any style would grow out fairly quick anyway!

My son has thick hair - his first haircut was a trim around the ears and trimmed off his face - that was about 1 year old

At 16 months he now has a proper styled cut :)

Depends how long it is I guess

I just got it trimmed, it was quite long but he wasn't happy with sitting there for a while so thought we'd just go for something quick and easy.

My eldest has spiky hair, it grows upwards and outwards! We have always styled his hair to keep it tidy. His first cut was at 11 months old. Shaved short around the back & sides and a trim on the top with scissors. He gets it cut every 6 weeks. My youngest never had hair until he was 2. It grew through very thin and fluffy so we've shaved it short to thicken it. He's nearly 2.5 and is getting a proper style ready for pre-school in September :)

My boy is getting his hair finally after his first trim, I think i'll stick with trims for now! I deffo don't want it shaved, neither do I think he'll sit still enough! But it's the way it grows too, I really want his dad to take him to his cause he's really good and knows about the crowns and stuff but it's quite an old man and I don't know if he's too young just yet to go with his dad!

I don't reckon he's too young - it might be helpful in that as he gets bigger he'll probably go with his dad so gets him used to it earlier if you get me?

I vote top knot!! Haha

Hope your little guy looks smart with his new do! X
