Hi can u take strepsils or lemsip when breastfeeding??

I was told no to both when i was breastfeeding. I did however have halls sootthers. Hot lemonade and hunny with paracetamol works just as well as lemsip xx

Thanks I'll give that a try! It's such a pain we can't have anything when pregnant and now while feeding!!!

I know!! I did however inhale vicks and had some buttercup syrup but only a small dose xx

Alot of cold remedies are based around paracetomol so might be something you can take. Alot of pharmicists tell you to speak to gp, our surgery does advice calls so hopefully they can tell you there is something you can take.

I just took paracetemol and halls soothers when I had my cold xxx

Oops ive been having lemsip - only in the morning when i feel dreadful. But i have it between feeds. I wish this cold would go ;(

Manuka honey and hot lemon I found helped just as quick as lemsip. I was told no to everything by the pharmacist.
