What can I apply for before birth??

I am going through all this section and it really is overwhelming!!

Wondered if any of you single parent ladies know what I should be doing before the birth...

What do I need to be claiming for? I earn £14.808 a year. Single, don't claim any sort of benefits now.
Just don't fancy doing it after the birth... have enough on then hahaha... baby brain is bad enough without the screaming .... sorry gorgeousness of a newborn hehehe.

You could fill out most of the Child Benefit and Child Tax Credit forms before the birth then finish them (with baby's details) after the birth.

when you've had the baby and claimed child tax credit you should be entitled to the sure start maternity grant
