I have a 5 week old and a 23 month old and am struggling to get any kind of routine going for the baby yet as I don't have time to think straight! Lol.

Can you ladies please share your routines with me so I can try and get my head straight on this?

Thanks :) xxx

I have a 3 month old and a 21 month old. Ha ha ha well I wouldn't call it a routine but seems to work for now. Both boys are up at 7am. Then it's feed for baby then breakfast for lo. Then we play for a bit. Then baby naps for a hour whilst I get out with sorting out house. Once baby is up we get ready to go out. Anywhere where my lo can run about. 12pm we have lunch in the house or out and about. 3pm my oldest comes home from school, then I get dinner ready babies play with older brother, 6pm I start getting lo ready for bed, he is asleep by 7pm then I bath baby spend some one on one time with him, pit him to bed around 8.30pm. Once he is asleep I go to see oldest, help with reading/ homework then I collapse on side for 30mim before falling asleep only to be woken by someone needing something!!! ( oh and apparently I have time to eat and shower at some point whenever there is a second!!!) I

I only have one baby so much easier (5.5months old)

Up at 6.30/7, I feed baby some milk while still lying in bed then we get up, baby plays on her mat while I have my breakfast with daddy. I then give her a bit of food before she goes back into her Mat for a little bit while I tidy up.

She then has a nap at 8/830 for 30mins when I get a shower and dressed. We then usually go out, either swimming of for a walk or help oh on the farm. She then usually naps for 45mins at 11/1130 where I prepare lunch, when she wakes she has some milk then it's my lunchtime when oh gets in. After I've eaten she gets some more food and then we usually play for a couple of hours until 3ish when we take the dog for a walk and she naps for anywhere between 30 mins and 1.5 hours depending on the walk.

Then it's more milk and playtime, usually at about 5pm I take all her clothes of and she has some naked playtime or twice a week she has a bath. More milk then play/cuddle with dad while I prepare our supper. After we've eaten it's more milk and a cuddle with mummy before sleeping on the couch/mummy until 9.30ish when she has another feed then bed

I have a 3 year old and 9 month old and we don't have any real routine. We eat at roughly the same time daily (8am, midday and 5pm for kids) and we usually head out everyday for 10am-ish. We sometimes go out for an hour and sometimes for the day.

James doesnt nap much any more (when he does he has a good 2 hours though) and I couldn't tell you when Bee sleeps as she is so hit and miss. As a rule she has a few cat naps a day.

They are bathed every 2nd or 3rd day. Bee is still bf (on demand but she isn't having as much in the day) so I tend to go with the flow.

My house is a shit tip but I feel more relaxed without a stringent routine in place [I am generally - myself - quite a rountied, organised person but with two kids it just didn't happen for us!!]

Kids are almost always asleep by 9pm and sleep until roughly 7am. James is a brilliant sleeper, Bee wakes for at least one feed still, often more.

When Bee was weeny I tended to go out to suit James' nap times so she just fitted it with us.

James is starting nursery soon. 2.5 days so we'll be up and about earlier.

Also when Bee does sleep at home I am not ashamed to say James gets a few episodes of Thomas or Peppa Pig - this is the only way I get any chores done.

We just have the one but Our LO has a bottle 6.30/7am, I grab shower just before hubby goes to work, nap around 8-9 for about 30 mins. Then I quickly do washing up, quick tidy and have breaky. When she wakes get her ready and finish getting myself ready while she's in bouncer seat. Some days we go out around 10 ish so she has next feed while out. Another nap anywhere from 11-1pm next feed 2-3pm, another nap time varies depending on what we have done that day. (If we go swimming or to massage she can sleep up to 3 hours) Next bottle around 6pm, followed by bath alternate nights then ready for bed and falls asleep between 7 and 8pm then dream feed around 10pm.

I have a 2.5 month old.. But he's been in this routine since 6weeks! It took me 2 weeks up get him to follow it religiously from 4 week old! 7am I wake him every morning, he feeds every 4 hours.. 7, 11, 3pm, 6.30pm and a dream feed at 10pm
At 6pm every night we bath him and he has his bottle by 6.30pm! He then sleeps til I wake him for his dream feed, he then sleeps til 7am! He wakes at 5am but gets himself back to sleep after 20secs of whinging! He only naps for a total of 3 hours in the day (his choice) I basically put him down 2 hours after he wakes from his previous nap as that's when he's ready for one! Feeding routine in the day is clockwork and so is bedtime routine! His naps vary from day to day as to how long and what time he goes for them xxx

He's only just gone on to 4hourly feeding, he was feeding every 3 but he started fussing on his bottles so I seapped to 4 hrly and upped his bottle by an oz, he has 7oz in each bottle! He was 9lb when born and is now 14lbs so I think that's why he sleeps so well (long may it last, I hope) lol xxx

When my youngest was five weeks old there was no routine really. I just tried to keep to my eldests routine as much as possible and have baby nap and feed on the move with us. It was organised chaos really.

I'd say it wasn't until my youngest was around three months that I could say we had more of a predictable routine. But every thing still felt like a military operation just to get out the house! I feel like it's only been the last six weeks or so, since my youngest started weaning and my eldest started going to the childminders for his free hours every day, that we've finally nailed a routine where both boys eat and sleep at the same time. Although my eldest doesn't nap every day anymore.

We have a 9yr old, 4yr old and 20wk old boys. All up at 7.15am, dressed and breakfast at 7.30am, baby has 8oz bottle. Drop brothers at school, baby naps on way home for 45mins, play and chill until 8oz bottle at 11.30am, naps at 12.30 for anything from 45mins to 2hrs, 8oz bottle at 2.30pm, collect boys from school at 3.15, plays with brothers until tea time, portion of fruit or veg purée with 6oz milk at 5.30pm, has a nap for about 45mins or so, middle son bed at 7pm, baby usually asleep in living room from 8pm, eldest bed at 9pm, change and feed baby at 9.30p, then 6-8oz bottle before bed.
