Well, 2am I was at the out of hours doctor place with Arianna, so I should have known it was going to be a rubbish day!
This morning, I remembered I had the optician so I called to cancel because Arianna was ill.... was told it would be another 2wks before I got an appointment
so thought, sod it... wrap Arianna up and nip in... should be an hour tops! Got her all cosy, nipped into town, she fell asleep on the way which I thought was a bonus, she wont wake while I am in.....
WRONG!!!
My apt was at 1.40pm, well for starters I wasnt seen until 2.30pm.... already I am then the optician takes me through. tests my eyes... says how is that I said "100 times better I can see perfectly...." he says "well this is your new prescription"... clicks a button "and this is your old" to which I reply "can't be, I cant see a bloody thing"
The numpty hadnt looked at my previous prescription properly and didnt notice that I wear varifocal lenses
SOOOOO I had to do the test ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!
I am just newly home now!!! All I did in town was optician and then after the stress went into Lush to get a bath bomb so I can relax tonight!
So, after planning on being 1hr max... I was actually over 4 and a half hrs!!
I complained lots tho and am getting money off!!!!
Also, to lighten my mood... while I had the silly machine infront of me getting my eyes tested.... Arianna told me I looked like WALL-E
Can always rely on my daughter to make me smile!
