We're almost there..!!

Sooo we're finally getting somewhere haha! I hope this will be my last baby name post haha
All that's missing now is one more middle name!! So I need your help one last time (hopefully!)

One of our girls will be Matilda Ruby. The other one will be Violet and now we are looking for her middle name! They will be called mainly by their first name, though.

So we were considering Maude, since Ruby is linked to Violet as they are both colours, and Maude derived from Matilda (at least so I've heard), so their first as well as middle names would be linked, but still individual and not too matchy-matchy (at least IMO). However I'm not too sure I like the sound of Maude that much... Aside from the link, there are plenty of other names I'd prefer to Maude.

Now here are some other names we like as middle names (not sure if they all match or flow too well). Last name is Cole

Beatrice (my favourite)
Adele
Evangeline (but I'm afraid it's too long, as Matilda's middle name is a two-syllable name)

Oh likes Rachel, which is my middle name..but I feel like I couldn't give one twin my name and the other one not!

we also like short names as middle names like Jo, Jay or Liv, but I don't think they'd go with the other names we've picked out

I'm sorry, but I really don't like the name Maude. Beatrice is a lovely name but I don't feel like it flows with Violet? What about Violet Bea? I think that is so sweet xx

Violet Mae , I'm being biased because that's my daughters middle name. I would say rose but violet and rose are flowers. What about claire (I'm being biased again) lol.

I actually like the sound of a Violet Evangeline Cole and I think it goes well with Matilda Ruby Cole.

Hope you are a little closer to making the decision - it is a hard one

I feel like Rose is a little too much with Violet as a first name, as they're both flowers.
I do love both Grace and Mae, but feel like they're a little overused as they're soo popular as middle names :/ Do love them, though, so don't know if I should let that put me off or no, as it's "only" the middle and not first name.

Any opinions on Beatrice and Adele?

Violet Adele sounds better to me than Violet Beatrice.

There's soooooo many lovely names that go with Violet.
