Congratulations on the confirmation! I had to have the booking in appointment with the midwife (which I arranged myself through GP receptionist) at about 8 weeks, she then gave me a phone number to call the hospital a couple of days after the appointment and I arranged the scan directly with the hospital, which I had today at 12+1 weeks. But I think every area works slightly differently. It'll depend which Primary Care Trust you live in and how your local midwives and hospitals arrange things. Good luck!
