....and they wanted to keep me in again
Went in because I have been in pain since last night. Still am.
They did a trace. Babies heart rate was slower than usual, but they said as long as it is moving, there is nothing to worry about.
What they were going to keep me in for is because there was +4 ketones in my urine. I have had ketones a few times before. But I am never dehydrated (as ketones can be a sign of this). And I do have my meals.
The doc said +4 is pretty high. She kept asking if I have had severe sickness. I havent. They are non plussed as to why I keep getting ketones. I had them when I was on the ward and they saw me drinking jugs of water, and didnt understand.
To do with the baby, she says she hopes I can get to another 3-4 weeks at least. This was after saying to CTG results were 'reactive' or something similar. She kept saying that she is not worrying too much, as I have had my steroids.
I have to go back in if I start being sick, or bleed or if my pain gets worse.
She said seen as I didn't want to stay in, I need to discuss ketones with my consultant on monday.
On a good note, they did my bile level blood tests at the hospital, and they were fine! So no OC
(sorry about long post)
