I had a normal vaginal delivery and it all went pretty smoothly, had to go to theatre afterwards and be stitched but all fine.

In the last couple of days I've had strange flashbacks of the birth and it is making me scared! And my down below feels all bruised like it does after you've had a baby, but i think it's all in my head!

Anyone else?! I keep thinking about the pushing and the baby and feeling like it was a completely unnatural experience and feeling a little traumatised! How pathetic of me! Apart from that I have a good baby, we breastfeed easily, she sleeps through, blah blah I dontnknow whats come over me!

You know how you forget the birth soon afterwards, like the bodys way of making us less traumatised, well maybe you're just remembering bits if the parts you forgot..... If that makes sense lol

I often remember bits I forgot x

I had a very traumatic birth and for few weeks after couldn't talk about it without getting very upset and crying. Midwife thought I may have had post traumatic stress disorder . I'm fine now and can talk about iteasily. Maybe you have a touch of this?? Hope u feelbetter soon xxx

I had a pretty good birth and was fine with until about 10 weeks after, then bits came back to me (tmi But i stood up after having lo and lost 2 very large clots of blood) it kept upsetting me But Im fine again now! If your worried about how your feeling pop to c the doctor xx

Wierd isn't it. That's what I found, it's only the last fee days that I've had this, and I feel like it's the most unnatural thing ever. Even though it isn't. I feel creeped out by it! Really strange.

Maybee you had stopped talking about the birth Lexi, and so when you do think about it its like going all over it again a fresh? I did that with the miscaridge , stopped talking about it ankd then found when I did think about it, it was more upsetting, as talking, thinking about things regurlary is a kind of theraphy, if you know what I mean?
