weird dreams?

These have been happening to me for a chile now, last night i dreamt i went to see the MW and she said @oh your baby is big, about 4 pounds!!! (im 26 weeks preg)

Also I have had horrible scary dreams too

Oh god I know exactly what you mean, Im having horrendous dreams so I know how awful they make you feel Mine are about anything, something wrong with bubba, something happening to me or OH, OH cheating on me, the birth going wrong etc etc etc Anything at all really.

I mentioned it to the midwife and she told me to try hpynobirthing which should relax me about the birth and help me feel more relaxed in general, Im going to look into booking a course, Id try anything. Im even scared to go to sleep some nights and Im permanently exhausted.

Thats probably not much help to you but just wanted to let you know you're not the only one

Im so glad that ones not just me Its awful isnt it? I know deep down hes not but Im having to stop myself snooping in his pockets, on his phone etc just to convince myself. I refuse to do that because he hasnt actually done anything, I know its just my imagination but its horrendous and so upsetting

His phone was ringing loads the other day which I know were work calls, his job is much harder with the snow as he has drivers out delivering vital drugs and they were all calling as they were stuck. Now I KNOW that but I still started getting upset and couldnt eat my food, I had to go and lock myself in the bathroom just so he couldnt see me being crazy!!

I just want to have bubba now so hopefully the dreams will stop. Sending you lots of hugs

I havnt really had any weird dreams but me, my OH and my sister all dreamt i was having a boy and at my 16 week scan, we found out it most probs is a boy! lol

I've woken up crying a few times from dreams about something bad happening to my DH or the baby. It's horrible isn't it. I guess we're all feeling the stresses of pregnancy a bit.

That made me spit out my drink Well with a choice of husband or a wheelbarrow Id choose the wheelbarrow everytime

I keep having dreams about sleeping with other men

last night it was OH's cousin...well he is mega nice but I dreamt it and it seemed so real and was amazing lol!! I hope no 1 knows me on here to be honnest I woke up a bit dissapointed although id never cheat on OH

My "what to expect" does a whole section on pregnancy dreams - from dreaming that you're bleeding, to something wrong with baby, to cheating on OH with the most improbable people but at the same time loving it - to a mixture of all of these! It's all to do with anxiety about the birth, confusion with sexual feelings due to rampaging hormones and fears that you are becoming unattractive and big and awkward....just another sign that you are feeling a bit vulnerable, I suppose.

I've had em all! Every type of weird dream imaginable, including an ex I HATE coming back and me blowing a whistle down the phone at him!

I had a dream that we stayed over at my mum and dad's with the baby and my mum put the baby in her room and wouldn't let us see him and was being really horrible

Besides that I have been having a lot more vivid and strange dreams since I've been pregnant... not necessarily about the baby either... just feel a lot more real and some are very weird.

Also, when I dream about the baby it is ALWAYS a boy... makes me wonder if my body kind of knows something I don't.. ???

I've had the bleeding one too but i always just see it on my finger and it seems so real I have to double check when i wake up!

Will we have strange dreams after the baby is born?

I know I had a few where I was worried about something happening to the baby alright, but apart from that, no! I think a lot of us are scared (whether aware of it or not) that the arrival of a child will change your relationship, too, like make you fight or stuff like that. That part is true - about the only disagreements that OH and I have ever had, really, have been about Naomi. My mother used to tell me that though, so I may have worried about it beforehand, I can't remember.

BUT no matter what kind of dreams you have, you'll be just fine - cos they're only dreams. Dreams are manifestations of subconscious (or conscious) fear - you tend to dream about stuff that's occupying your mind. But that's all. If you dream about cheating, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are looking around for someone to cheat with, it just means that you dreamt about cheating
