Im not sure if Rosie has lost any weight but she hasnt been eating well at all for a while, she has been teething terribly and now has more about to pop up. Anyway I wanted to know if anyone could tell me if its normal to lose a little weight due to teething? I will see the HV next Thursday so will ask for some advice then but I appreciate everyone's experiences on here :)

AJ did gain very little when he teething badly. He was not eating much but crawling around like superman on speed!

I give him whatever he will eat, but not a load of rubbish either. When he does eat, I give him an extra yogurt or something to 'fatten' him up. At nearly 21lb and nearly 15 months he needs the extra!

Thanks CharlieBear! Well its typical isnt it? This evening Rosie ate for tes: 2 fishfingers, baked beans, a piece of bread, a piece of fruit cake and some blueberries. This is the most she has eaten for tea in MONTHS! I cant believe it but am so thrilled, I feel like a proud mumma!

Aww, glad she's eating! They like to prove us wrong dont they?

If all else fails we go back to the old faithfuls, AJ will nearly always eat raisins, grapes, kiwi, and jelly to name a few!

I worry about this too!!! Freds is cutting alot of teeth at the moment and is eating hardly anything which REALLY stresses me out. i can't get anything with lumps into him which is so unlike him he is usually a really good eater and will have anything.

All he will have is yoghurt, fruit pots and stuff like that as well as his milk, looking forward to it passing! I don't weigh him much but guess he must loose a bit of weight though hes not skinny, i just like to see him eating! :wall2:

Nim goes right off her food when she's teething. So instead we give her plenty of milk, fruit, yogurt and those Ella's Kitchen fruit and veg shoot things.
