weight gain?

Hi im new to the forum and am due feb 10th so im 19 week 2 days and have not gained a single pound in weight, yet when i had my daughter 21 month ago i was in maternity clothes at this stage!! Is this normal with a 2nd pregnancy? Or perhaps means this ones a boy? Loving all your bumps!

Hi

I think it depends on your start weight, if you were overweight to start with then not gaining weight by 19weeks is not a problem but if you were underweight it obviously is.

I started out at 8 and a half stone and have gained nearly a stone and a half but i'm not worried. If your running about after a 21month old its likely to keep the weight off too.

i'd check with your midwife if your worried

i havent put any weight on except for my bump obviously

lol she does keep me busy!! Prob cos im bigger anyway to start then , im a size 12 so no skinny minnie as it is, my stomach is bigger than most of urs when im not pregnant lol

Count yourself lucky your not gaining the weight!! Your prob end up with with a gorgeous little bump x xx

Ive lost some weight and gone down a clothes size even though ive got a bump but this is due to sickness, everyone is different and puts weight on at different rates so try not to worry too much honey.

ive lost 2 stone lol but still heavily overweight , no idea what ill gain at the end

I am having a boy and I have gained alot
I was 53kilos at 10weeks ( just over 8 stones) now I am 25 weeks and I am 69kilos (10 and a half stone)
All the weight has gone to my bump and boobs though, which is good- but I'll prob explode in other areas later.

I was a bit over weight pre-pregnancy but I think I have put on over 3 stone now. Thank goodness I've only got 11 weeks to go. I'm really starting to struggle with carrying the extra weight. xxx
