Weeing and uterus....

Well last few days Ive been weeing like a blilmin tap! But it feels different and im now wondering if its normal.

When I wee i feel like my bladder is 'restricted' - almost like it wont 'open up' fully if that makes ANY sense at all, just feels different to when I was weeing before I got pregnant - is this becuase the uterus is growing as I couldnt imagine that as Im 4w2d its grown that much, or am I wrong?

I have to say that constant weeing is not one of the pregnancy symptoms I have so far suffered with but from what others have told me it is very common. As for what it actually feels like well I couldn't hazzard a guess but I'm thinking that as everything down there is starting to change then your bladder may well be affected.

I've no idea hun, sorry. Could you possibly have a urine infection, which is why it's feeling weird? Maybe it might be worth a trip to your dr's just to double check.

I know you feel tho, I'm peeing ALL the time too and it's driving me nuts!

I have been peeing like mad since I conceived!! I get up at leat 3 times a night and go constantly throughout the day. I will say that sometimes I feel like I need to go really bad, and it's like a thimble full in comparison to what I was expecting.

It would be worth checking re: urine infection though as pregnant women are prone to them. Just to be on the safe side.

I had some problems with my bladder for a few years and I would feel like I was desperate to go and when I got there I didnt go, or at the most did a drop. I had some xrays done and they said I wasnt emptying properly but they couldnt find any specific reason. all they came up with was tension and stress!. that means my brain was telling me to go when my body didnt need to. not been too bad with this pregnancy so far, although I have felt an overwhelming urge sometimes when I do need to go that comes on very quickly and suddenly. with an infection you would probably also have some pain and they are usually quite painful. maybe ask ur Dr but it could just be down to stress or tension as mine was.

I'd say it could just be cos you're not as full as you would normally be - the peeing more often thing is not that you produce more wee, just that you have to go earlier than you woudl otherwise. So it might feel weird to be weeing on a less full bladder if that makes sense? But if you get any real discomfort make sure to get yourself checked in case of UTI

I'd get it checked out just in case. I think bladder issues are so common in pregnancy.

I had a weird one a little while back where I would get a sort of achey/stretchy pain when peeing. A bit like when you have held it in for ages and you are really desperate for a pee, when you do finally go it sort of hurts as you've stretched your bladder so much... It was like that but when peeing normally. It wasn't a big deal and went away after a week or so.

If you're worried I'd get your urine checked by the doc...
