Wearing a Poppy with pride

Off topic but I just wanted to say that as today is Armistice Day and on Rememberance Sunday this weekend I'll be wearing my Poppy with pride....

My OH is a Veteran who fought for his country, putting his life on the line in hell holes all over the world for 10 years and I'm so proud of him and all our brave Armed Forces boys and girls and am SO relieved that he is here with me in 1 piece.

My heart goes out to anyone who's serving friend or family member wasn't so lucky.

I will be too and thinking of all those brave men and women past and present served or serving in the forces.

My husband is currently serving is Afghanistan and I am counting every second until he is home safely with me again.

2 minutes silence today - I was in bloody tears lol Just the thought of honoring everyone who has given their life in the forces since WW1......makes me feel so humbled.

I always wear my poppy with pride every year and this one will be no different. x
